Mark Travel Corp. to Operate Air Jamaica’s Tour Division

Air Jamaica will outsource its Air Jamaica Vacations division to Milwaukee-based Mark Travel Corp., effective August 1, according to George deMercado, vice president of sales for Air Jamaica.

Mark Travel currently operates 16 vacation brands, including Funjet Vacations, Southwest Airlines Vacations, Spirit Vacations, United Vacations and Vacations by Adventure Tours, among others.

Air Jamaica Vacations will be operated from Orlando by Mark Travel under the Air Jamaica Vacations brand.

“Our customers will continue to receive the same high level of service and various options for booking packages under the new management,” deMercado said. “To the consumer and travel agent community, nothing will change.”
