Monterey County CVB Launches “More Monterey” Promotion

The Monterey County Convention and Visitors Bureau has launched its first “More Monterey” program, providing potential visitors with a chance to win a trip using one of six customized itineraries.

Highlighting the different experiences in the area, the “More Monterey” campaign is live through March 31. Visitors can fill out an online form for chance to win a trip for two (up to four for the Family & Fun trip) to Monterey that focuses on one of six themes:

Food & Wine includes a two-night stay at the Bernardus Lodge, a half-day Carmel Valley wine tasting tour, a Carmel food tour, the Carmel Wine Walk Passport, a VIP wine tasting at the Bernardus Winery and dining at Il Fornaio.

Action & Adventure features two-night stay at the Monterey Marriott, bike rental, kayak or stand-up paddle board rental, a whale watching tour, dining at Peter B's Brewpub at the Portola Hotel & Spa, Monterey Bay Aquarium passes and a bee keeping experience at Carmel Valley Ranch.

Family & Fun includes a two-night stay at the InterContinental The Clement Monterey, four MY Museum passes, four passes to Wild Things, dining at Bistro Monterey at the Hotel Abrego, a surrey bike Rental, and four passes to the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Epic & Scenic features a two-night stay in a Bay View Room at the Embassy Suites Monterey Bay, a three-day California State Parks Pass, a beach “nonfire,” gate access to the 17-Mile Drive at Pebble Beach Resorts, dining at The Bench at The Lodge at Pebble Beach and at Nepenthe in Big Sur, Monterey Bay Aquarium passes, and a Monterey movie tour.

Golf & Spa includes a two-night stay in the Spa Suite at the Mariposa Inn & Suites, a round of golf at Bayonet and Blackhorse, admission to the Refuge Spa, two 60-minute massages at Spa Ayiana at Carmel Valley Ranch, and fine dining at the Portola Hotel & Spa and Edgar's at the Quail Lodge & Golf Club.
