Montreal-Curacao Flights Start January 1

The first flight on the new Air Canada route from Montreal to Curacao starts on Thursday, January 1, according to the Curacao Tourist Board (CTB). The additional flight from Canada was announced in late June. There is already a flight to and from Toronto.

“There now appears to be enough interest in Canada to fly from multiple destinations and throughout the year,” said the minister of economic development, Stanley Palm.

Acting director of the CTB said that Canada is the fourth largest market for Curacao, after the Netherlands, the USA and Venezuela.
