MSC Cruises to Sail Throughout Europe in 2010
MSC Cruises is offering 16 Mediterranean and 11 Northern European itineraries featuring more than 60 ports of call in 2010. Eastern Mediterranean itineraries include Venice, Istanbul, Mykonos, Santorini, and Dubrovnik, while the routes in the Western Mediterranean include Barcelona, Marseille, Naples, Rome, Toulon (St. Tropez) and Monte Carlo.
MSC Cruises offers alternate departure ports, such as Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Copenhagen, Dover, Amsterdam, Naples, Genoa, Bari, Marseille, and Kiel on many itineraries. MSC Cruises will base 10 ships in the Mediterranean in 2010, including the two newest, MSC Fantasia and MSC Splendida. These sister ships with exclusive MSC Yacht Club areas will sail a variety of seven-night itineraries.
Some highlights of MSC Cruises’ 2010 Mediterranean itineraries include the MSC Fantasia’s seven-night “Mediterranean Fantasy” itineraries, calling in Barcelona, Marseille, Genoa, Naples, Palermo, La Goulette (Tunis) and Palma de Majorca from April to October. Fares start at $899 per person for an interior stateroom.
An upgrade to a balcony stateroom costs an additional $50 per day. The MSC Splendida will operate seven-night “The Splendid Mediterranean” itineraries, calling at Genoa, Marseille, Barcelona, La Goulette, Valletta, Messina (Taormina) and Civitavecchia (Rome) from March to November.
Rates start at $799 per person. The MSC Musica will operate seven-night “Greek Islands in the Sun” itineraries roundtrip from Venice, calling in Bari, Corfu, Piraeus (Athens), Mykonos, Santorini, Katakolon (Olympia) and Dubrovnik. The sailings from April to October start at $999.
