Nassau Paradise Island Heads into 2014 with New Hotel Renovations, Airlift

Heading into 2014, Nassau Paradise Island in the Bahamas is offering new and newly renovated resorts and United Airlines' expanded nonstop service from Chicago.

Atlantis, Paradise Island will host the second-annual Pure Silk-Bahamas LPGA Classic as the LPGA’s season-opening event when it returns to the Ocean Club Golf Course from Jan. 23-26, 2014. Additionally, Atlantis, Paradise Island will hold a concert performance by Emblem3 on Mar. 22, 2014.

For sports fans looking to travel in the fall, Atlantis will once again host Battle 4 Atlantis, the men’s pre-season college basketball tournament over Thanksgiving weekend, Nov. 26-28, 2014. The tournament will have University of North Carolina (UNC), UCLA (University of California, Los Angeles), Georgetown University, University of Florida, Butler University, University of Wisconsin, University of Oklahoma, and the University of Alabama at Birmingham in a 12-game tournament broadcasted live by ESPN and AXS TV.
