New Flights for Dominica
High fuel prices have forced many airlines to reduce the number of their flights and as a result the Caribbean governments are scrambling to make arrangements for tourists to visit their islands.
The Discover Dominica Tourism Authority has announced that Win Air Aviation and LIAT, the regional Caribbean airline, have initiated additional service between several strategic hubs and Dominica.
The Dominica Chronicle newspaper reported that regional airports offering services include St Lucia’s Hewanorra Airport, St Lucia George Charles (SLU), Antigua (ANU), St Maarten (SXM), Dominica Mervin Hall (DOM) and Dominica Canefield Airport (DCF) located on the western portion of the island just 10 minutes drive from the capital city of Roseau.
