Oneworld Expands South American Offerings

According to a recently published report, Oneworld affiliate member LAN Ecuador has gained rights to launch domestic services within Ecuador. This move will, in turn, bulk up Oneworld’s offerings by adding more new destinations to the alliance’s network.

According to the report, in March, the service will connect the capital Quito with Guayaquil and link both cities with Cuenca and Galapagos, using Airbus A320 aircraft. Cuenca and Galapagos will both join the Oneworld portfolio for the first time.
