Porter Airlines to Launch Toronto-Chicago Service

Porter Airlines on Nov. 12 will begin daily turboprop service between Chicago Midway and Toronto City Centre airports. Chicago will be Porter’s second U.S. destination. It already flies its 70-seat Bombardier Q400s between Toronto City Centre and Newark.

The Toronto-based carrier will eventually operate six roundtrip flights every weekday, plus two on Saturdays and three on Sundays. An initial schedule of three daily roundtrips per weekday and two each on Saturdays and Sundays will be in effect until Jan. 7.
