Portuguese Airline Further Expands Network, Sales Force in Europe

TAP Portugal, a renowned Star Alliance member, has opened two new ticket offices in Poland (Warsaw) and Russia (Moscow). For the representation in those countries, TAP has chosen Aviareps, the world’s leading airline and tourism management company. With immediate effect, dedicated Aviareps teams in Warsaw and Moscow are taking on responsibility for sales and bookings on behalf of TAP.

On June 9, 2009 TAP Portugal will begin flights between Warsaw and Lisbon with an Airbus A320, an aircraft with a capacity of 162 passengers. The service will run five times a week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Only one day later (on June 10, 2009) the new Moscow-Lisbon route will be implemented. This connection will be operated on a daily basis, except for Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
