Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Tourism Boards Forge MICE Alliance
By Claudette Covey
The Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board will continue its Meeting, Incentive Travel, Convention and Exhibition (MICE) promotions in 2013 with a proactive campaign, including a strategic alliance with the Mexico Tourism Board (MTB), with whom it will participate at this year’s AIBTM, IMEX and MPI shows.
With an excess of 12,599 hotel rooms, a state-of-the-art international convention center, world-class diverse tourism offers and accessibility, Puerto Vallarta is an ideal destination for MICE events, said tourism officials. Puerto Vallarta has hosted high-profile conferences within the past year, including the Pan-American games, Tianguis and the World Economic Forum.
In 2013, the Puerto Vallarta Tourism Board is planning a proactive and intense promotion of its MICE infrastructure, including a high presence in IMEX and MPI as well as meeting with meetings professionals during its upcoming roadshow, which will visit cities across the US and Canada.
