Queen Victoria Getting Set for Maiden Voyage

Cunard Line’s newest ship, the Queen Victoria, arrived in Southampton, England, and berthed at the City Cruise Terminal.

The ship was named today by Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall. Her husband, Charles, the Prince of Wales, was also in attendance.

Members of the public viewed the ceremony on large screens built in Southampton’s Mayflower Park. The Queen Victoria will then depart on its maiden voyage tomorrow afternoon.
