Radiance of the Seas to Extend San Diego Season
Royal Caribbean International will extend the Radiance of the Seas’ season out of San Diego next year and will cancel its originally scheduled South America cruises.
The Radiance will offer 24 Mexican Riviera sailings, ranging from four- to 12-days, and two West Coast cruises, a nine- and a 10-day itinerary, during the 2009-2010 winter and spring seasons.
The ship was supposed to be on South America cruises from Nov. 21, 2009 through March 7, 2010; passengers booked on those cruises will be offered the option to rebook on Radiance of the Seas’ 2008-2009 South America cruises from Nov. 23 through Feb. 1 and Feb. 28 through April 26, subject to availability, Royal Caribbean said.
The ports of call on the Mexican Riviera cruises include Acapulco, Cabo San Lucas, Ensenada, Huatulco, Ixtapa (Zihuatanejo), Manzanillo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta.
