Regent Seven Seas Announces Record Calls, Bookings

Regent Seven Seas Cruises said its call center has experienced sustained record phone and booking volumes since the week of March 16. Call volume has been 46 percent higher than average, and bookings 55 percent above average. As a result, the line’s Mediterranean and Alaska programs are almost sold out.

Free unlimited shore excursions are now included on many departures, in addition to fares that already include all soft drinks, wines, premium spirits and shipboard gratuities.

Pricing incentives of 2-for-1 savings and free airfare are also widely available for the balance of 2009, along with low-cost business-class air upgrade offers in conjunction with longer cruises in the fall.

For 2010, the line is introducing its most inclusive year ever with governmental fees and taxes, free airfare, 2-for-1 savings and free unlimited shore excursions included on all departures, thus virtually eliminating all non-commissionable fares. Additional savings of up to $1,000 are also offered for a limited time.
