Regent Seven Seas Cruises, which had scheduled the Seven Seas Navigator for dry-dock in January in Charleston, S.C., has accelerated the work to take place Nov. 15 to Dec. 15 at the Lloyd Werft shipyard in Bremerhaven, Germany.

The line said “unforeseen circumstances” forced the change. As a result, the Navigator’s cruises during that period have been cancelled. Regent Seven Seas sent letters to travel agents who had booked clients on those voyages.

The line is offering alternate cruises with rebooking incentives. Clients who choose not to rebook will receive a full refund. The luxury line is protecting agent commissions on deposited bookings and will pay regular commission if they rebook clients on another voyage.
