Rezidor Plans Second Radisson Property in Morocco

The Rezidor Hotel Group plans to open the Radisson Resort & Spa, Tangier in Morocco in fourth-quarter 2010. The 155-room hotel will be Rezidor’s second resort in Morocco, following the opening of the Radisson Resort & Spa, Saidia in third-quarter 2010.

The company’s portfolio in Africa now comprises more than 20 hotels with almost 5,400 rooms in operation and under development. The project is owned and will be developed by Societe H’teliere et Immobiliere du Nord, a subsidiary of the Luxembourg based Aerium Atlas Investments.

The Radisson Resort & Spa, Tangier will be located on the east end of the Bay of Tangier in the Ghandouri area. It will feature a spa facility, two restaurants, two bars, a swimming pool, conference areas and a business center.
