Royal Caribbean Ship to Showcase NYC Neighborhoods

Some people take a cruise to get away from New York –but one cruise liner will allow passengers to take it with them. Royal Caribbean cruise lines’ Oasis of the Seas will showcase some smaller versions of a few New York neighborhoods.

Among them will be a replica of Central Park the size of a football field –and a miniature Coney Island, complete with an amusement park. The ship is being built in Finland right now. It will eventually be the world’s longest ocean liner, with accommodations for 5,400 passengers. It’s expected to sail in December of next year.
