Ryanair Increases Baggage Charges to Encourage Free Online Check-in

European low fares airline Ryanair has increased checked-in baggage and airport check-in fees with immediate effect for all new bookings.

The airline stated that the initiative is part of its continued drive to encourage passengers to travel without checked in bags and avail of Ryanair’s free of charge online check-in.

For all bookings made from January 23 onwards, Ryanair’s checked in baggage fee will increase from £5 to £6 per bag and the airport check-in fee will increase from £2 to £3.
