Spirit Kicks Off Flight to Puerto Rico

Beginning February 14, Spirit Airlines is launching new daily nonstop service from Orlando to Aguadilla, Puerto Rico. This new service compliments Spirit’s existing connecting service from Orlando and nonstop service from Fort Lauderdale to Aguadilla.

“As Fort Lauderdale’s largest carrier, Spirit is happy to extend its trademark low fare service to Puerto Rico from Florida with the addition of this new Orlando-Aguadilla nonstop service,” said Barry Biffle, Spirit’s Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer. “Spirit maintains operating costs lower than other carriers, even those who call themselves low cost carriers, and we are proud to pass those savings on to every consumer.”

Spirit continues to offer low fares to more places in Puerto Rico, the Caribbean and Latin America than any other low-fare, low-cost airline. It also offers more nonstop and connecting flight options between Aguadilla and Florida than any other airline using the youngest fleet of comfortable Airbus aircraft in the Americas.
