St. Kitts Hires Global Position as North American Representative

The St. Kitts Tourism Authority has awarded Global Positioning Solutions LLC with an agreement to represent St. Kitts in the North American group marketplace. St. Kitts hopes the new alliance will help the island to position itself more aggressively as a leading Caribbean destination for all group market segments as the new year commences.
Global Positioning Solutions LLC, owned and operated by Ileana Rousseau, started in 2008 and has grown rapidly, gaining recognition as a strong competitor in Caribbean group sales and marketing. Rousseau is recognized as a successful and seasoned leader in the tourism industry and is no stranger to St. Kitts.
Between 2003 and 2006, Rousseau was a resident of the island as the director of sales for the St. Kitts Marriott. Pamela Richardson, newly appointed director of operations for Global Positioning Solutions, will play an integral role in launching St. Kitts steadily into the group segments.
Richardson joins the company from a long career with The Bahamas, most recently as director of groups and West Coast development at the Ministry of Tourism. Located in the northern Leeward Islands of the Caribbean, St. Kitts offers a diverse tourism product developed from the destination’s natural beauty, cultural heritage and rich history.
