A voyage around Cuban shorelines is the adventure proposed by Adriana cruise, owned by Tropicana Cruises Ltd company. With half a dozen stopovers, including a brief visit to Jamaica, the Russian vessel offers an exclusive voyage which will appeal the leisure market in countries from Eastern Europe.
With its traditional design, Adriana succeeds in mixing the comfort of cutting-edge luxury cruises and the history of old vessels. That’s the reason why it counts on living halls, ball halls, restaurant, and more than a hundred cabins with capacity for 304 passengers.
Vasily M. Borovsky, captain of the ship, explained to CND that this new destination takes seven days with departure on Saturdays from Havana, as home port. The scales are Isla de La Juventud, Trinidad, Jamaica, Santiago de Cuba, Holguin, and back to the isle’s capital coming from North.
There’s no doubt it’ll be a passionate adventure for demanding preferences, highlighted Mr. Borovsky. He said that, on their way back, passengers will be able to enjoy the island’s attractions and visit other destinations such as Varadero. It’s even scheduled, that after the cruise week, tourists will stay for seven days in that famous beach.
“This unprecedented project also proves the friendship ties between both countries, next to the celebration of 50 years of relations between Cuba and Russia”, he said.
Igor Mynaylenko, vice president of Tropicana Cruises Ltd, also told CND that this promising idea has came to reality thanks to the support of Cuba’s ministries of Tourism, Transportation, Culture, among other Cuban institutions.
He added that this joint effort reaffirms the country’s will of developing new and attractive offers in the leisure industry, revealing the world not only the traditional beaches and natural sites, but also part of its history, traditions and geography.
The voyage around Cuba also includes a program with land tours and excursions, organized by Cubatur Group.
