Travel Bound Introduces Overnight Cruises in Europe, South America, Asia

Travel Bound has added scenic cruises in Europe, South America, Asia and the Middle East to the company’s extensive lineup of commissionable sightseeing options for independent travelers and groups of 10 or more passengers.
Travel Bound’s cruises –sold exclusively through travel agents- range from three to eight nights. Destinations include the Nile River, Galapagos Islands, Amazon River, Rhine River (during Advent), Vietnam’s Mekong River and Cambodia’s Tonle Sap Lake. Cruise prices range from $320 per person for a three- or four-night Nile cruise to $3,867 for a seven-night cruise in the Galapagos.
The $320 price for the Nile cruise is valid only through Sept. 28. Other prices are generally valid through December of this year. Agent commission starts at 10 percent for cruises, as well as hotels, transfers and additional sightseeing tours before and after the cruise.
Though Travel Bound has previously offered day and evening cruises, it is now offering overnight cruises. Prices start at $320 for Nile cruise, $329 for Rhine Advent cruise. The Nile River three- and four-night cruises to the fabled sites of ancient Egypt include full board, accommodations in an outside cabin and tours, as well as onboard pool, spa, restaurant and bars.
The Amazon River cruise departs Manaus, Brazil for an eight-day cruise with a naturalist guide far up the Rio Negro. Prices start at $2,400 per person (valid through Dec. 20). The Galapagos Islands cruise departs Quito, Ecuador, on four- and seven-night cruises to see the unique flora and fauna, accompanied by a professional guide. Prices start at $2,613 per person for four-nights (valid through Dec. 31).
The Rhine River During Advent cruise departs Cologne, Germany. The three- and four-night cruises from Nov. 24 to Dec. 20 visit Christmas markets. Stops include Rudesheim, Koblenz and Cochem. Five meals a day, welcome cocktail and entertainment onboard are all included. Prices starts at $329 per person.
The Indochina “Lost Civilization” cruise departs from Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, or Siem Reap, Cambodia, on a seven-night cruise on the Mekong River and Tonle Sap Lake aboard the luxury cruiser Jayavarman with stops at UNESCO World Heritage sites such as Angkor Wat, mangrove reserve, floating markets, cottage industries, colonial Phnom Penh and the former “Killing Field.” Prices start at $1,338 per person (valid Nov. 7 to Dec. 18 from Ho Chi Minh City; July 1 to Dec. 15, 2010, from Siem Reap).
