Trinidad & Tobago Host FAM Trip for Indian Agents

Tourism Trinidad & Tobago recently hosted a group of travel agents from India as a part of a familiarization visit to Trinidad and Tobago in the first week of September 2014.  The trip was aimed at increasing the understanding and awareness of Trinidad and Tobago as a tourism destination among the Indian travel trade.

The six day trip was led by Beena Menon, India Representative, Tourism Trinidad & Tobago. The travel trade members who participated in the FAM trip were from Kuoni Travel India, Thomas Cook, Cox & Kings, Travel Oytser and Vacations Exotica. The trip showcased important places of interest and fun-filled activities for travellers to Trinidad and Tobago.

Menon said, “Trinidad and Tobago is a wonderful destination for honeymooners and families. The proximity of these two islands to North America, the no visa requirement for Indians and the opportunity to experience the true Caribbean flavor also makes these islands an ideal add-on destination for Indian travellers to the USA and Canada. We hope that this FAM trip will help the travel trade to create customized itineraries to promote to their clients.”
