Uruguay’s Pluna Starts Selling Tickets Online, Rents Lockhead Aircraft for Spain Flights
Pluna started to sell tickets via the Internet for air shuttle service (Carrasco-Aeroparque), one of the first steps of the emergency plan the consortium Leadgate has prepared for this airline.
In the second stage of this plan, customers will be able to buy tickets via the internet for other destinations to which the airline flies. In a third stage, tickets will be bought for flights which include other companies.
Caribbean News Digital also learned that Pluna rented a Lockhead TriStar aircraft which started to fly to Spain since last Saturday. This is due to the fact that the Boeing 767 covering this route will be under maintenance. Likewise, the airline is making progress in the purchase of a Boeing 737 to LAN Chile which will be used as fleet support.
