Vacation Express Adds Flights to, Opens Hotels in Punta Cana

Vacation Express is adding several seasonal nonstop charter flights in 2014 to Punta Cana from Charlotte, Nashville and Cincinnati.

The Charlotte flights will run from May 18 to Aug. 3, Nashville service will operate from May 19 to Aug. 4 and the Cincinnati flights will go from March 15 to Aug. 7.

Vacation Express also plans to launch Royalton, a new hotel brand, which will debut Nov. 30 in Punta Cana with the 525-room Memories Splash resort and the 470-room Royalton Punta Cana.

The two all-inclusive resorts are refurbishments and will stand where the former Grand Paradise Bavaro had been in the past.

The Bavaro resort was split in two and a new waterpark has been built in the center, connecting the two properties.
