Virgin America Celebrates New Service to Orlando
Virgin America is celebrating its new service to Orlando International Airport with a red carpet welcome for guests on the celebratory flight arriving Wednesday, Oct. 13. Upon touchdown of Virgin America’s new Airbus A320 aircraft arriving from LAX, flight guests will receive an “O-Town” welcome with a Virgin twist -- a champagne reception at the arrival gate at MCO. Virgin America CEO David Cush and commercial guests from the flight will be greeted upon arrival by local officials, MCO leadership and Virgin Group Founder Sir Richard Branson.
Virgin America will also be welcoming contest winners who won a spot on the party flight by submitting their most “awkward” family vacation photos. In addition to a spot on the flight, contest winners also scored the ultimate family vacation getaway -- Virgin America flights and a vacation package, including hotel stay. The service began Oct. 6. It serves Orlando from San Francisco and Los Angeles.
