Windstar Sets Holiday Specials in Caribbean and Costa Rica

Windstar Cruises is offering special rates on holiday and New Year’s cruises in the Caribbean and Costa Rica.

The Wind Spirit’s holiday and New Year’s sailings feature a new St. Martin itinerary.

The seven-day Caribbean cruises visit St. Kitts, Tortola, Virgin Gorda, Jost Van Dyke and St. Barts. The sailing departs Dec. 19 with cruise rates from $2,349 per person, double occupancy. The New Year’s sailing departs Dec. 26 and rates start at $2,449.

The Wind Star’s seven-day holiday and New Year’s cruises sail roundtrip from Puerto Caldera, Costa Rica, and visit San Juan del Sur, Nicaragua, and the Costa Rican ports of Playas del Coco, Quepos, Bahia Drake, Curu and Tortuga Island. The holiday sailing departs Dec. 19; fares start at $2,549. The New Year’s sailing departs Dec. 26; fares are priced from $2,649.

Wind Surf’s seven-day holiday sailing departs Dec. 20 from Bridgetown, Barbados, and visits St. Lucia, Guadeloupe, St. Kitts, Nevis, St. Barts and Bequia. The New Year’s sailing departs Dec. 27 and visits Bequia, Martinique, Dominica, St. Kitts, Nevis and Grenada. Cruise rates for both sailings start at $2,249.

On the holiday sailings, each ship is decorated with trees, wreathes, garlands and lights. A holiday menu includes roasted turkey and traditional accompaniments. On New Year’s voyages, guests partake in a New Year’s Eve party complete with favors, live music, official countdown by the captain and champagne toast.
