Zoom Rolls Out Low-Cost Bermuda Flights
Low-cost direct flights between London Gatwick and Bermuda have taken off with a new service operated by Zoom Airlines. The inaugural flight broke the longest-running monopoly on an air route in the world. Zoom is the first airline to compete with British Airways on the route since 1967.
Zoom is an established low-fares, full-service airline and will operate twice-weekly direct flights. One-way flights start at £199 including all taxes, fees and charges. Passengers will also be able to plan two-center breaks in Bermuda and New York, flying direct from London Gatwick to New York’s JFK and returning via Bermuda or vice versa.
Passengers using the new service also benefit from a flexible booking system which enables them to travel without any restrictions such as staying over a Saturday night. Economy and Premium Economy services are offered, and Zoom includes complimentary meals and soft drinks in all fares.
