JetBlue Airways will begin flying daily nonstop flights between Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport and Bogota's El Dorado International Airport starting on May 7. To publicize the new service, JetBlue is offering a one-way fare of $99.

Virgin Atlantic has made the decision not to pass on what it calls an “unfair retrospective” increase to passengers in the form of Britain’s Air Passenger Duty, according to a letter by CEO Steve Ridgway. It's all in a letter Mr. Ridgway sent recently to UK Chancellor George Osborne.
