The Chief Executive Officers of long-serving regional airline LIAT and new low-cost carrier REDjet will go head to head at the State of the Industry Conference later this month in St. Martin, according to the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) which is planning the inaugural event.

Airberlin's summer flight schedule 2012 will offer more business flight connections on key routes. For that purpose, Germany's second-largest airline company will increase its flight frequency to the hubs in Berlin, Dusseldorf and Vienna, thus improving the connection between them.

American Airlines is introducing a new suite of premium class amenities. The product additions are designed with the customer's comfort and convenience in mind and will roll out on select international flights in First and Business Class cabins beginning Sept. 1. Customers traveling onboard American's flights between the U.S. and London Heathrow (LHR) will be among the first to enjoy the new offerings.

Aeromexico is adding a third flight to its Brownsville-Monterrey route, which was launched earlier this summer. Beginning on Sept. 21, the third flight will be in addition to the two already existing flights that have already been extended through 2012.

GOL Linhas Aereas will feature content from Brazil's major communication groups. Passengers can access the platform through their own communications devices starting in September.

American Airlines today announced it will launch service between New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) and V. C. Bird International Airport in Antigua (ANU), four times a week beginning Nov. 17. The new service will be operated by a Boeing 737 aircraft with 148 seats.
