Lufthansa is launching Lufthansa Italia, an airline in Italy that will have an initial fleet of six aircraft, the German carrier announced on Wednesday.

Sisserou Airways, a new airline based at Melville Hall Airport on Dominica, has launched service between Dominica and St. Maarten, St. Thomas and Barbados. Sisserou is offering three flights per week between Dominica and each of the three Caribbean islands. The flights on 19-seat Jetstreams are timed to connect with flights from the U.S.

Iberia is adding 10 new U.S. destinations to its network, after extending its code-sharing arrangements with American Airlines.
