As the leading cruise lines launch another generation of ever-larger ships, ports of call across the Caribbean are launching new, expanded and revamped port facilities.

Crystal Cruises has purchased a Boeing Business Jet B777-200LR ahead of the launch of its new brand extension, Crystal Luxury Air. The move raises the new brand's air fleet to two planes, including the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner described in the initial announcement.

Royal Caribbean International has announced the launch of "Come Seek Live," a series of live streaming videos offered through the Periscope social media app.

MSC Cruises celebrated the arrival of MSC Divina – one of the company's newest and most ultra-modern ships – to Miami, where she will sail year-round to the Caribbean.

Azamara Club Cruises has announced its schedule of 2018 itineraries. That year the line will offer 69 voyages to 228 ports (including 30 new ports) in 64 countries, as well as a return to Australia and New Zealand.

The Norwegian Getaway cruise ship made its inaugural visit to St Kitts and Nevis this week, contributing to the significant number of cruise ships already visiting the island.
