Carnival Corp.’s Italian brand, Costa Cruises, will get two new next-generation cruise ships that will accommodate up to 6,600 passengers and operate on cleaner-burning fuel.

While still awaiting governmental approval, Pearl Seas Cruises announced plans to launch cruises to Cuba in the spring, with seven- to-ten-night educational rides.
Carnival Corporation will add two ships to its China fleet in 2016, making it the first global cruise company with six total ships based in China.
The Port Authority of Barcelona has welcomed an investment of more than €30 million to build and operate a second private cruise terminal at the Port of Barcelona.

New ships will be introduced over the next three years, termed by Crystal as “effectively establishing three brand new classes of cruising,” and Crystal’s own Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft will be unveiled.

Haimark Line, of Colorado, said it plans 15 nine-night "people-to-people" cruises to Cuba on the luxury 105-cabin Saint Laurent ship beginning Feb. 20.
