CruiseCompete’s CruiseTrends report is out for July 2015, analyzing the most popular cruise lines, destinations, departure ports and more for cruisers this summer.

The 2,350-passenger Majesty of the Seas will stay in the Royal Caribbean International fleet after all — and offer free Internet during short cruises starting in May.

MSC Cruises said it will deploy the 2,120-passenger MSC Opera on weeklong cruises from Havana, beginning Dec. 22.

Carnival Corporation has scheduled Miami-Havana voyages starting in May 2016, with its new brand: Fathom.

The Port of New Orleans feels it's in great shape to host cruises to Cuba, once travel there by Americans is allowed. Cruises to Cuba are already available.

Silversea Cruises has announced that the line's new flagship, the Silver Muse, will be delivered in the spring of 2017.
