
Star Clippers has announced its summer Mediterranean season for 2016. Itineraries range from three to 18 nights and call at ports such as Istanbul, some of the smallest Greek Islands and the Adriatic and the Balearics. New ports for Star Clippers include Notteri in Sardinia.

The Martinique Tourism Authority is projecting another strong cruise season in 2015-2016, with a record 22 ships slated to make their first-ever port calls in The Isle of Flowers between October 26, 2015 and August 31, 2016. The 22 ships represent some of the biggest names in the cruise industry.
Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd.’s new Espresso reservation system has officially gone live. The new reservation system allows travel agents to sell cruises from Royal Caribbean International, Celebrity Cruises, Pullmantur, Azamara Club Cruises and CDF Croisieres de France.

Furthering the cruise line’s commitment to growing the China vacation market, Royal Caribbean International announced that Tianjin, China, will be the new home for its third Quantum-class ship, Ovation of the Seas. The news was given by Royal Caribbean’s President and CEO, Michael Bayley.

Carnival Corporation has signed two strategic memorandums of agreement that will add a total of nine new cruise ships to the company’s industry-leading fleet over a four-year period from 2019. The shipbuilding agreements are subject to several conditions, including satisfactory financing.
