Voted the best cruise line in the Caribbean for 12 consecutive years and the top large-ship cruise line for families, Royal Caribbean International today announced the upcoming Caribbean openings for the cruise line’s new 2016-17 Adventure Collection.

Norwegian Cruise Line has announced that company veteran Andy Stuart has been named president and chief operating officer of Norwegian Cruise Line. The move follows the resignation of Drew Madsen.

Carnival Cruise Line will increase capacity by 34 percent on short cruises from New Orleans in April 2016 when it moves the Carnival Triumph from Galveston to the Big Easy. The 102,000-ton, 2,758-passenger Carnival Triumph will replace the smaller 70,367-ton Carnival Elation, which accommodates 2,052 guests on a double-occupancy basis.

Royal Caribbean has announced that the Harmony of the Seas, the third in its Oasis class of ships -- currently the largest cruise ships in the world -- will launch in April 2016.
