Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. said it plans a further reduction in capacity for Europe sailings. In announcing its first-quarter results, RCCL said it plans to reduce 2014 year-over-year capacity by an additional 10%. It now expects European cruises to account for 25% of its capacity in 2014.

Royal Caribbean International is offering a variety of three- to five-night Caribbean and Bahamas cruises throughout 2014-15, sailing from Tampa, Port Canaveral, Port Everglades and Miami. They now are open for booking.

Carnival Cruise Lines cancelled two more five-day voyages on the Carnival Triumph so it can fix damage sustained in the April 3 storm in Mobile, Ala. The ship now will return to service in Galveston on June 13, instead of June 3.
