This year marks the 50th Anniversary for ITB Berlin, taking place from March 9th-13th in Berlin, Germany, and the Maldives is the official partner country of this leading travel trade show.

Together, visitors, exhibitors and guests will soon be celebrating the impressive grand finale of the 50th ITB Berlin, the world’s largest travel trade show, where musicians, singers and dancers from around the world will be performing modern and traditional works.

From 9 to 12 March 2016, under the heading of "Travel 4.0: the digitalization of the travel industry", the convention will examine a number of topics, including virtual reality and the digital transition.

From 9 to 13 March 2016 at the world’s largest travel trade show the fair’s organizers expect around 10,000 exhibitors and organizations from more than 180 countries to be in the 26 halls on the Berlin Exhibition Grounds.

The focus is on the Maldives. This year’s partner country is organizing the opening event on the eve of ITB Berlin with a larger display area.

Experts will be examining the forces driving innovation in the event industry and asking whether their arrival is causing a decline in face-to-face encounters.
