Some of the world’s most popular and appealing travel destinations are in jeopardy, vulnerable to issues like climate change and unsustainable development. Several leading organizations have joined forces to address these challenges head-on by helping tourism destinations in the Caribbean and Latin America to safeguard their natural and cultural assets, while enhancing communities and securing a vibrant regional economy.

TripAdvisor announced the results of the third installment of the TripBarometer, the world's largest accommodation and traveler survey. This bi-annual study, conducted on behalf of TripAdvisor by independent research firm Ipsos, highlights country, regional and global travel trends, according to more than 60,000 travelers and hoteliers around the world, including more than 10,000 U.S. respondents.

TripAdvisor announced the results of its family travel survey of more than 2,700 U.S. respondents revealing that 92 percent plan to travel with family this year, up from 85 percent who did so last year.
