On a day that was to mark the significant reduction of air access from the US mainland to Puerto Rico and other destinations in the Caribbean, the region is celebrating the addition of new flights and the preservation of routes that were slated for cancellation.
In preparation for the resumption of American Airlines flight to Grenada on November 2, a Grenada delegation comprising of hoteliers and tourism officials is traveling to the northeastern region of the United States of America for a series of travel agents seminars.

The Arab World Travel and Tourism Exchange (AWTTE 2008) is a regional travel tradeshow that will take place at BIEL Center in Beirut on October 16 thru 19, 2008. It showcases the latest travel products in Lebanon and the Middle East.
The Grenada Board of Tourism will host a 2008 Road Show on Sept. 16 to 19, inviting travel agents and tour operators across the Northeast United States to attend and learn all about the destination, as well as plans for Grenada, including the addition of new flights from top airline carriers, the construction of multiple four- and five-star resorts, and the re-development of local tourist areas.
CHTA Officials Meet with European Union on EPA; Mr. de Marchena Kaluche Emphasizes Importance for Tourism
