While participating in the Dominican Annual Tourism Exchange (DATE), Delta Vacations reports that its business in the Dominican Republic is experiencing strong year-over-year growth.

Tourists could bring in an estimated $550 million for Tobago but Secretary of the Division of Tourism and Transportation in the Tobago House of Assembly Tracy Davidson-Celestine said crime is threatening the growth of the island’s tourism industry.

As travel restrictions lift, travel options expand to Cuba with new programs for diverse groups of travelers. After a very strong year in 2014, the Caribbean’s largest tourism destination is continuing its growth so far in 2015. The country saw a 7.4 percent increase in stayover visitor arrivals in the first quarter of 2015.
