Cuba’s tourism sector reported that revenues in 2013 increased to over $1.8 billion, a figure that exceeds that reported for 2012, following a modest growth in the number of visitors. The sector experienced some instability in tourist arrivals, particularly in the middle of the year.

TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel site, has announced the winners of its Travelers’ Choice Islands, with the top two world’s best being Ambergris Caye, Belize, and Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands.

This new eco-park features natural treasures that guests can explore, which include a main entrance to the world's largest underground river system, cenotes and more. Visitors will be able to zip line through the jungle, rappel down cenotes, snorkel underground river systems, explore the jungle on a Unimog 4x4, and enjoy traditional Yucatecan food at the end of their journey.

The regulation aims to standardize and provide a structural framework for the operation of tourism companies in Ecuador. All companies must come into full compliance with the new standards.
