FlyUSA, a rapidly expanding leader in private aviation, has announced the acquisition of TRYP Air Charter and its affiliated company MySky Aviation Solutions, pushing its managed fleet to 28 aircraft and marking a 50% growth in its charter operations. The deal increases FlyUSA’s on-fleet aircraft available for charter from eight to twelve, reinforcing its position as the largest and most active turboprop and light jet operator in Florida and possibly the Southeast U.S.

"This transaction is a game-changer," said Barry Shevlin, Co-Founder and CEO of FlyUSA. "It unlocks new growth opportunities and delivers even greater value to our clients. We've had a strong relationship with TRYP from the beginning, and bringing them into the FlyUSA family strengthens our operations significantly."

Elliot Mintzer, Founder and CEO of MySky and TRYP, joins FlyUSA to oversee the turboprop/PC-12 fleet, bringing over a decade of PC-12 expertise. He will also mentor incoming pilots as the fleet grows. Kyle Garren, VP of Charter/Logistics at TRYP, also transitions to FlyUSA, enhancing the company’s charter sales capabilities.

This move follows FlyUSA’s record-breaking Q1 2025, in which it earned $15 million in revenue, driven largely by the on-demand charter segment. The company is on track to reach its $70 million revenue goal for the year.

Mintzer emphasized the strategic alignment: "TRYP and MySky have long led in providing Pilatus PC-12 lift throughout the Southeast and the Bahamas. The opportunity to join FlyUSA and grow together was something we couldn’t pass up."
