Operational Issues Force LIAT to Call Off Flights
The airline said the flights have been cancelled due to operational issues but did not elaborate or give details.
The cancellations come as Barbados' Prime Minister Mia Mottley, Minister of Tourism Kerrie Symmonds, chairman of the LIAT shareholder governments, Prime Minister Dr Ralph Gonsalves of St Vincent and trade union representatives meet in Bridgetown to discuss the fate of the cash-strapped airline.
The affected flights are:
• LI 374 from Barbados to St. Lucia
• LI 375 from St. Lucia to Barbados
• LI 337 from Barbados to Grenada
• LI 338 from Grenada to Barbados
• LI 769 from Barbados to St. Vincent
• LI 770 from St. Vincent to Barbados.
