The Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO) is preparing to host Caribbean Weekend in Miami 2025, a major four-day event that will bring together Caribbean tourism ministers, directors, industry leaders and regional stakeholders. The gathering will take place from December 4–8, 2025, at the Loews Coral Gables Hotel, and aims to strengthen collaboration while addressing the most pressing issues facing Caribbean tourism.

A central mission of the weekend is supporting communities affected by Hurricane Melissa in Jamaica and Haiti. On December 5, CTO will host a holiday dinner and fundraiser in partnership with its Allied Members, with the goal of raising US $100,000 for the CTO Foundation. Funds will assist tourism workers whose livelihoods were disrupted by the storm, reinforcing the regional commitment to solidarity and recovery.

“This fundraiser embodies the spirit of Caribbean unity,” said Dona Regis-Prosper, Secretary-General & CEO of CTO. “As we celebrate the holiday season, we’re also standing together to help our brothers and sisters in Jamaica and Haiti rebuild and restore hope to communities.”

One of the weekend’s highlights is the “Reimagining Caribbean Tourism Together” summit, held on Royal Caribbean’s Icon of the Seas on Saturday. Sponsored by Royal Caribbean Group, the high-level forum will gather leaders to explore innovative strategies to drive sustainable tourism development, boost competitiveness and stimulate economic growth throughout the region.

Throughout the event, delegates will also be able to engage with the CTO Knowledge Exchange Kiosk, an interactive space showcasing CTO’s tools, services and resources designed to advance tourism growth, innovation, and sustainability.

The program concludes on December 7 with the Caribbean Media Exchange (CMEx) Leadership Awards & Fundraiser, honoring individuals whose contributions in tourism, business, media, culture and sustainable development have positively transformed Caribbean communities.

With a blend of strategic planning, humanitarian action and industry collaboration, Caribbean Weekend in Miami 2025 stands as a pivotal moment for reinforcing unity and charting the future of Caribbean tourism.
