Under the theme 'Connecting with Diversity,' the professional days of FITUR will feature presentations, while the weekend will embrace the more playful side of FITUR LGTB+.

The FITUR LGBT+ section makes a return to the International Tourism Trade Fair, spotlighting the richness and variety of Spain's inclusive and sustainable tourist destinations. From January 24 to 28, this space, situated in Hall 9 of IFEMA MADRID, will celebrate diversity and present innovative ways to promote tourism offers that prioritize inclusivity and sustainability.

The inauguration of FITUR LGTB+ under the slogan 'Conectando con la Diversidad’ (Connecting with Diversity) will take place on Wednesday, January 24th, at 4:30 pm, with the presence of representatives from national and local institutions. Following the inauguration, a diverse program of activities and conferences will commence, including the official presentation of the Spanish Network of Destinations for Diversity. Project participants will emphasize the significance of tourism offers made by destinations for travelers of all identities. Exhibitors will showcase their latest innovations, reinforcing their commitment to inclusivity and creativity, offering attendees a glimpse into dream-like coastlines and historically rich cities.

During the professional visitor days (Wednesday, January 24 to Friday, January 26), the section will host presentations and forums where experts will share their knowledge alongside IBERIA, the main sponsor of this specialized area. The weekend will cater to the general public, providing a more lively and varied experience of FITUR LGTB+, featuring vibrant shows and various participatory activities.

Specialized events focused on diversity and tourism will unfold, including festivals in the LGBT+ segment, the senior segment, family, and trans. A highlight will be the presentation of Gandía as the host city for the Mr. Gay Comunitat Valenciana 2024 Gala.

Weekend activities will include musical performances by Libertad Montero, Cristal Forever, the legendary Black & White, and Atreve el Musical. Additionally, a Chueca Diversa fashion show by designer Jose Perea will add a touch of flair to the festivities.
