IPW 2025 Turns Chicago into the Global Stage for U.S. Tourism

IPW 2025 is set to take place in Chicago from June 14 to 18, turning the city into the epicenter of the international tourism industry. Organized by the U.S. Travel Association, this leading event for inbound travel to the United States will be hosted at McCormick Place, where more than 6,000 tourism professionals from over 70 countries will gather for more than 100,000 pre-scheduled business appointments.
This edition of IPW will feature over 1,000 U.S. travel organizations, approximately 1,300 international buyers, and 500 journalists, making it an unmatched platform for B2B connections. Beyond the business side, the agenda offers a rich blend of educational sessions, networking opportunities, and immersive cultural experiences that highlight both Chicago and the broader American travel offering.
The event kicks off on Saturday and Sunday with registration, booth setup, and destination experiences for buyers and media, including a press brunch at historic Wrigley Field. On Sunday night, attendees will enjoy "Chicago’s House Party 2.0" at the Field Museum, featuring music, local art, cuisine, and a silent disco.
On Monday, Brand USA will host networking lunches and unveil its 2026 campaign, while “Magnificent Mile Monday” invites attendees to explore the city’s most iconic avenue. Tuesday’s highlight is the “Broadway Inbound NYC” luncheon, connecting New York’s rich cultural scene with the Chicago setting.
IPW 2025 will close on Wednesday, June 18, with a celebration at Navy Pier, themed around the start of the legendary Route 66. Guests will enjoy interactive activations, regional flavors, and lakefront views, wrapping up an event that blends business with culture in one of America’s most vibrant cities.
