Abu Dhabi to Introduce the World's Largest Drone Light Show

Abu Dhabi is set to launch the world's largest drone light show, a groundbreaking initiative that will fuse cutting-edge drone technology with immersive storytelling to showcase the emirate’s rich culture and dynamic future. The announcement follows the signing of a strategic partnership between the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi (DCT Abu Dhabi), Nova Sky Stories, and Analog.

The partnership will introduce the most advanced fleet of 10,000 light-show drones, creating synchronized performances across iconic Abu Dhabi locations. This ambitious project will merge the region's heritage with next-generation technology, offering unique cultural narratives through aerial displays.

His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, witnessed the agreement, signaling a major step in Abu Dhabi’s evolution as a global hub for culture and innovation.

Mohamed Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairman of DCT Abu Dhabi, commented: "This partnership will challenge the conventions of storytelling, creating unforgettable experiences that blend creativity and innovation, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s leadership in entertainment and cultural innovation."

Kimbal Musk, CEO of Nova Sky Stories, shared his excitement, stating: "Abu Dhabi is at the forefront of technological storytelling. With the largest fleet of drones in the world, this initiative will revolutionize the way art and culture are shared in the sky."

Alex Kipman, Founder of Analog, emphasized that the project will transform Abu Dhabi's skyline into a dynamic canvas for holographic storytelling, seamlessly merging tradition and technology.

The drones will use real-time synchronization and adaptive intelligence to deliver an evolving, immersive experience, redefining the future of live entertainment and offering a new dimension of cultural expression.
