Explora Journeys to Return to Monaco Grand Prix in 2026
Explora Journeys will once again bring its signature blend of luxury ocean travel and Formula 1® glamour to Monte Carlo, announcing the return of EXPLORA I to the iconic Grand Prix de Monaco in 2026. After a dazzling debut in 2025, the MSC Group’s luxury lifestyle brand is set to dock in Port Hercule from June 3 to June 8, 2026, offering an unmatched hospitality experience just steps away from the legendary street circuit.
The 2025 edition saw Explora Journeys redefine race-week hospitality, with EXPLORA II transforming into a private-yacht-style sanctuary offering panoramic views of the race from the heart of Monaco. Guests were treated to immersive luxury, world-class entertainment, and appearances by F1 legends such as Sir Jackie Stewart and David Coulthard.
In 2026, EXPLORA I will elevate the experience even further. Docked a mere 150 meters from the racetrack, the ship will offer guests spacious suites with private terraces, six gourmet restaurants, an ocean-inspired spa, and access to exclusive onboard events, including meet-and-greets with past and present Formula 1® stars.
Guests booking a suite can upgrade their experience with VIP race tickets and hospitality packages, blending the adrenaline of Formula 1® with Explora’s hallmark serenity and refinement. Onboard perks also include unlimited premium beverages, high-speed Wi-Fi, and curated cultural programming designed to enhance the Monaco Grand Prix weekend.
Explora Journeys' 2026 return will once again make the ship a focal point of the Grand Prix’s social scene, with luxury brand showcases, themed events, and partnerships reminiscent of 2025’s Vanity Fair Club and jewellery presentations from Buccellati, Panerai, and Piaget.
