Las Vegas kicked off 2025 in spectacular style with an unforgettable celebration, "America's Party," marking the arrival of the New Year with a stunning eight-minute fireworks show that lit up the Strip. The pyrotechnic display, featuring rooftops from nine iconic resorts, spanned the Las Vegas Strip and showcased the city’s trademark blend of excitement and innovation.

The participating resorts included ARIA Resort & Casino, Caesars Palace, Fontainebleau Las Vegas, MGM Grand Hotel & Casino, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino, Resorts World Las Vegas, The STRAT Hotel, Casino & Tower, TI – Treasure Island Hotel & Casino, and The Venetian Resort Las Vegas.

For the first time, the official countdown was led by Sphere, a revolutionary landmark in Las Vegas, which displayed a custom content show on the Exosphere – the world’s largest LED screen. This countdown featured major cities from around the globe, celebrating different time zones as they approached midnight. The event further cemented Las Vegas' status as a global destination and positioned Sphere as a defining feature of the city’s skyline.

Anticipating a massive turnout, Las Vegas welcomed over 340,000 visitors to ring in the new year, contributing to the city's ongoing appeal as a hub of entertainment and celebration.

As the fireworks lit up the night sky and the Exosphere illuminated the Strip, Las Vegas ensured that the start of 2025 would be remembered for years to come.
