Aimed at highlighting Cuban cuisine as a cultural and heritage value of Cuba, the Paradiso Agency attached to the Ministry of Culture announces the first edition of Gastrocult Cuba 2019, a meeting for chefs, artists and food lovers to huddle and discuss matters related to this trade.
Gastrocult, slated to unfold on January 8-10, 2019 in Havana, is an event sponsored by the Iberostar Hotels & Resorts, the Ministry of Tourism, the Federation of Culinary Associations of Cuba, Bodegas Miguel Torres S.A. and the Excelencias Group.
This first meeting will be dedicated to India and will be part of the celebrations for the 150th birthday of Mahatma Gandhi, as well as the 500th anniversary of the city of Havana. Gastrocult Cuba 2019 is an event that forges alliances between art and cuisine, with the purpose of putting the true flavor of Cuba on the map.
With this purpose in mind, attendees will get a chance to revel in a three-day event in Havana, by the hand of national and international chefs, as well as top Cuban performers and artists.
